East Northport, NY – Children of all ages and adults from all walks of life are in for a spirit-nourishing read as author Maria Athanasiou presents her third Christian picture book, The Virgin Mary Mother of God: Blessed Above All Women.
A revealing picture book, The Virgin Mary Mother of God: Blessed Above All Women is designed to enlighten readers about the life and journey of Mary. Glowing iconographic illustrations coupled with informative narration, and Holy Scriptures offers readers a chance to know more about the life of the Virgin Mary, Theotokos the Mother Jesus Christ. Each luminous page illustrates, and discusses Mary's life and the ultimate fulfillment of God's prophecy.
After faithfully praying to the Lord for a child, God messenger, Gabriel, delivers the good news to Joachim and Anna that they will have a daughter and they shall name her Mary—God’s special blessing to bring great joy, happiness and salvation to the world.
From her birth, this book continues to follow Mary’s life as she grows up in the Temple Holy of Holies, receives food from God delivered by the angels that purifies her, and prepares her body and spirit to receive Jesus Christ. Then the Lord reveals Joseph to her who is destined to be her husband. It tells of Mary's Annunciation and Virgin Birth of Jesus, their travels and escapes from the threats. It also portrays how Mary witnessed the life journey of her Son Jesus—His teachings, miracles, love and compassion—to His crucifixion, death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and so much more. This book tells everyone of how Mary submitted herself to God’s plans without reluctance, even the death of her own son for the world’s redemption.
Spiritually enlightening, The Virgin Mary Mother of God: Blessed Above All Women is also highly recommended to be used as a teaching tool. This book is enrolled in Xlibris’ Bookstore Returnability Program, which gives booksellers the convenient option of returning excess stocks through Ingram Distribution.
