Rita Jones Rushing
Rita Jones Rushing is a born again Christian woman who has been born again since 1998. After totally surrendering her life to Jesus Christ, she accepted God’s call on her life and to walk in obedience. After more than five years of God waking her up in the middle of the night to write, the Lord said “you must write your first book and it must be called “Silly Women.” She is an active member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. Rita is a divorced woman who has been divorced for over sixteen years, and she has been celibate for over ten years. She is the god mother of Kaylo Henry and Trae Murray. She has an Associate degree in Computer Operations, a B.A. in Sociology and a M.A. in History from Southern University A& M College in Baton Rouge. She is a full time history instructor at Baton Rouge Community College located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and she currently resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
