Lynda Haines Schommer
Lynda Schommer is a survivor. Having been involved in a near-fatal accident at the age of 15, she has a unique appreciation for life, a compassion for her fellow man, as well as a true dedication for whatever she may be involved in. Her recovery has required a God-given strength and perseverance, which she has found to be invaluable throughout her life. Lynda Schommer invites you to come along with her as she travels back in time, to the memories of a smart, pretty, popular teenage girl who wakes up one day to find her life completely changed, with no recollection of how it happened. Follow along with her as she recounts her painful days in the hospital, her start of high school after going through such a traumatic event, and the ensuing times there, until finally she finds the peace that surpasses all understanding, with the realization that she is who she is only By the Grace of God. Today, Lynda lives on a farm north of Valley Center, KS, with her husband of 15 years, Matt, and their three daughters, Aleksa, Arynna and Alyvia. When she’s not chasing chickens off of the porch, you can often find her curled up with a good book, sipping either a hot cappuccino, a glass of iced tea or a diet coke, depending on the season, time of day and her mood. She knows she is here today only because of the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.
