An eclectic sponge would be one way to describe this soft spoken author. Cheryl Yvette Hunt is an artistic adventurer. Seeing a world with no borders and no boundaries, she has been everything from factory worker to fashion model, and from newspaper editor to travel agent. Driven by her educational and creative interest, this native of Cincinnati, Ohio, has resided everywhere from Knoxville, Tennessee, to London, England to San Francisco, California. She attended the University of Cincinnati, under the Bachelor of Science in Psychology program, with a certificate in Latin American Studies and Journalism. Her passion for the latter brought her to a unique writing experience. She then went to the Antioch International University Program in England to pursue a Masters in Arts through Creative Writing. A chameleon to other cultures, she has traveled throughout Europe and the Middle East, Central and South America, and is modestly fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. From her love for the Caribbean, Jamaica in particular, she and her mother, Reola Hunt co-founded a mission called The Jamaica Children's Fund. Now in it's 10th year, it's purpose is to give gifts and the message of Christ's love to the children of Jamaica, while teaching ordinary people the importance of global generosity and awareness. She is currently working on a book about missions.
