The second of four children, Cheryl was born in Vermont. Growing up in the country, she spent her early childhood amongst the beauties of nature. A quiet and sensitive child, Cheryl enjoyed the simple things that country living had to offer. She started drawing at an early age and has continued throughout her adulthood. Events from the past shape a person's life. The memories of Cheryl's early years instilled in her a love for nature, and for God, its creator. Semi retired, she now helps care for her elderly parents and in her spare time she still writes poetry, and enjoys using her art talent in a number of different medias. Combining her artwork with her poetry she produces her own bookmarks, matted verses etc. The poems in this book have been written from her struggles through depression and forgiveness, leading to a new wholeness and alleluias. Her hope is that you will fi nd comfort, consolation and peace in her poetry.
